Welcome!
I am Abby Simmons! I am a residential interior designer and furniture curator with Mark Simmons Interiors and Lone Oak Builders.
To be honest I cannot truly remember when my love affair with furniture
+ design began. Growing up, I had the privilege to take my personal space and make it anything I could dream up — with a little elbow grease and determination! I constantly experimented and changed my bedroom to suit whichever design style I loved that year. This in turn led me to pursue an education in interior design from Auburn University. There I spent countless hours perfecting design projects and constantly evolving as a student designer. Since graduating, I have spent the last ten years working in the residential design market in Nashville, Tennessee and beyond with Mark Simmons Interiors. Working on some exceptional projects in the “real world” as well as designing my own home has deepened my love for beautiful, well made furniture.
When I am not obsessing over my current projects, I enjoy spending time with my family, Grayson and our daughter Scotty, running around Nashville attempting to teach and entertain a two year old :)
